Seven million dollar construction of a concrete Aircraft Taxiway. Construction also consisted of placement of a temporary and permanent Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) Roads, and the demolition of vaious fire training equipment and facilities. Work was completed around an active Fire Training Facility and Airfield Operations Area without interruption of service The contract was composed of over 77,000 square yards of concrete paving; 260,000 cubic yards of excavation and embankment; 50,000 square yards of asphalt paving; 4,9000 lineal feet of reinforced concrete pipe; airfield lighting; fuel line relocation; installation of water lines, hydrants, and associated utilites.
